I was re-reading a bit to make sure I hadn't forgotten anything and I came across this comment and thought, "Are you me?" You summed up the whole issue perfectly, IMO. It's something I often have floating around in my thoughts. It's just life in the U.S.A. I mean, god know who was involved in making the iPad I am typing this on. And yeah, I think you are doing a great job of incorporating this stuff into the fic.
