Summary: On the night after Colonial Day, Felix and Gaius got drunk at a card game and fell into bed together, in what should have been a simple enough proposition.
Author's Note: This story owes a small but significant debt to a very memorable fic byfalafel_musings, The Cries and Whispers Series, specifically the chapter entitled, Devotion to Good. Thanks in advance to her for the idea from that fic that has become my personal fanon and which I have appropriated here for this story. Hopefully, I have made use of it in a way that is uniquely enough my own, while respectful of the original story.
