If you've got some definitive source to link me to, I guess I'd have to reconsider my spelling, although the stubborn part of me might not
Well, Battlestar Wiki, which has always been a fairly accurate souce in my experience, has Aerelon. So does my core book for the BSG role-playing game (don't judge!); the few times I've seen "Aerelon" in actual official-ish print, that's how it's spelled (the comics use both spellings, of course, which only further proves to me just how much crap they are). ...And as far as roots go, I think if one was to get inanely scholarly, the actual alliterative "from the greek" spelling of Aries is probably more like "Ares" or "Aeres" anyway. :P
