This was awesome. I have a kink for dark fic like this, where the darkness is well-rooted without going over the top, and this was just fantastic. As much as I liked your characterization of Felix in this, and his utter denial that he was in any way suicidal, it was actually Seelix that I completely fell in love with. I wish the show had played more with the aftereffects of the people who did this, and this was just brilliant.

I also really liked the scene with Chief and Seelix. It just... the bond that was there between them and the anger and the hurt and the pain and the fact he's been able to move on (maybe because he was the one who let Felix go?)... it was such good stuff.

And the scene at the end. Felix's state of mind in that scene was just so painful. I wouldn't quite call it fragile, but it was so messed up and so... ouchy. ::hugs Felix, although I don't think he wanted hugs much in this fic::
