Yay, posted! Like others reading, I think there needs to be more dark fic. There needs to be all kinds of fic, dark, fluffy, everything.
Little Black Dress challenge is hard! Because in some ways some people shouldn't ever be together sexually. And in this one, the two actually acknowledge that at the end. There are some things you can never make up for, never fix.
You know one thing I liked about this fic that I haven't mentioned yet? I like Seelix here, maybe even more than on the show. Not many try to figure out her point of view. I don't know if she felt confused or guilty about her part in the Circle but I'm glad that she got some fic attention. We know how the Circle affected Felix, but not much on Diana so I was glad to see her POV explored in this story.
Like blue_crow I like rare pairings that feel plausible and you succeed in that here. This fic has a realistic, visceral feeling. It's not pretty or romantic, but it's difficult, messy, full of shame and remorse, and that's exactly how these two would be together.
