Thank you so much for this. It was a hard fic to write, feeling like I was constantly walking a fence between dark and honest and just plain squicky. The goal with the creepy sex scene at the end was to make a scene that was erotic on the surface, but not actually erotic because it was so broken and damaged.
I'm glad the Baltar/Gaeta dream sequence worked for you. I think I did start out writing the scene because B/G are my comfort zone and this fic was definitely WAY outside my comfort zone. But quickly, I realized there were excellent symbolic possibilities to be had with Felix's passivity around Seelix and his passivity with Gaius. Even in canon, those two always seemed so passive-aggressive with each other. I'm so glad you thought the intertwining of the past and present for Felix was cool.
